COUNSELLOR
Rosa Antunovic
BE(Hons), PGDip(Couns), MCouns, Registered Provisional Member NZAC
Rosa graduated as a Chemical and Bioprocess Engineer in 2016. After working as a wastewater process engineer, she decided to spend half a year travelling Central America. She discovered her true calling and completed training to be a Youthline Volunteer Counsellor in 2019, which inspired her to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and a Master of Counselling Studies through Massey University. She completed her Masters thesis (systematic research) on her selected topic ‘Trauma-informed Care in Education’. Rosa’s counselling experience consists of previous mahi as a counsellor at an NGO and as a counsellor in schools in Lower Hutt, South Taranaki, and Coastal Taranaki. Rosa is now a provisionally registered counsellor with NZAC and has been practicing since 2021. She loves to surf, play basketball, and spend time with friends and family (and her dog Bear of course).
THERAPY DOG
Bear
Bear is an eight-year-old Samoyed. She is very friendly and addicted to pats. She is great with people of all ages and might even show you a few of her tricks for a little treat. Bear loves going to the beach and frolicking in the shallow water. If you aren’t comfortable with dogs, that is OK. Bear doesn’t take it personally and is happy to have a snooze out the back while you meet with Rosa.
